Character comedy. Work whose characters are characters, i.e. types of men defined by one or more traits psychological and moral key symbolizing an aspect of human nature or social condition ( e.g.: the miser, the Misanthrope of Molière ). The exaggeration of these features provides the material for a critique of the social medium (Juan Ruiz de Alarcón, privileged breasts ).
